Dr. Swapna Kallikadan is a distinguished female physician and entrepreneur with more than two decades of clinical experience. She is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Anti-Aging/Regenerative Medicine, and Harvard-certified in Obesity Medicine. As the founder and medical director of HEALTH + GLOW primary care | med spa | wellness in Tampa, Florida, Dr.Kallikadan seamlessly integrates evidence-based internal medicine with advanced aesthetic and regenerative therapies to provide patients with comprehensive, personalized care.
Dr. Kallikadan earned her medical degree from Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany, where her training included international clinical rotations in India and England. She went on to complete her residency in Internal Medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. She is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Anti-Aging/Regenerative Medicine (ABAARM).
Her areas of clinical expertise include preventive medicine, medical weight loss, hormone optimization and aesthetic medicine. She is particularly passionate about anti-aging interventions that promote longevity, vitality and enhanced quality of life. It’s a medical assessment conducted by an employer to ensure a job candidate is physically capable of performing the role’s essential duties safely.
You can expect a review of your medical history, a physical examination (checking vital signs, heart, lungs, etc.), and possibly job-specific assessments, lab work, or drug testing.
To help us provide the best care possible, please bring your ID, insurance card, a list of current medications, and any relevant medical history or reports. Having these on hand ensures a streamlined check-in and helps our team tailor your treatment with accuracy and care.
Common components include a review of your medical history, a vital signs check (blood pressure, heart rate), vision and hearing tests, and possibly drug screenings, blood work (like a lipid panel or CBC), and physical ability tests.
Most basic exams take 30 to 60 minutes, but more complex exams with additional screenings or physical ability tests may take longer.
