Laser Certified Medical Esthetician

Job Type: Part-time

We are currently seeking an experienced, passionate, motivated Laser Certified Esthetician for our Medical Spa located in South Tampa. Candidates must have a passion for the beauty industry, customer service, skincare and sales.

Position Overview:

The Laser Certified Esthetician we hire must be able to administer all aesthetic treatments and procedures on patients including Facials, Chemical Peels, Laser Treatments, Dermaplaning and more. You must possess a thorough knowledge of the skin, have excellent facial massage and skin extraction techniques, possess excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills and be willing to train in our spa’s specific facial and laser treatment offerings. You must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide beauty solutions to meet the needs of our guests. They must hold and maintain a current state license.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Be on time for your shift, prompt with each appointment and perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service.
  • Have a thorough working knowledge of all services and products the spa offers.
  • Conduct skin analyses in accordance with the highest levels of professional expertise and customer care.
  • Be experienced in laser hair removal.
  • Provide consistent professional facial and laser treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices.
  • Actively promote home care programs, meeting minimum retail sales goals.
  • Uphold all standards of sterilization and sanitation as required by law and designated by the spa’s own standards of policies and procedures.
  • Regularly attend and participate in staff meetings and pertinent training.
  • Keep your designated treatment room—as well as all staff areas you might have access to—clean, uncluttered and organized.
  • Properly care for equipment, and always use the designated amounts of product on guests in accordance with measures aimed at cost control.
  • Exude a positive attitude and personally contribute to a high-quality work environment
  • Perform prep work and properly clean and restock room as required
  • Assist with reception, calls, scheduling and addressing client concerns
  • Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available

Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and assembles medical record documentation/charts for physician.
  • Enters the patient room with the physician during patient visit to capture and transcribe medical record documentation utilizing electronic medical record applications.
  • Ensures medical record compliance by self-documentation attestation.
  • Updates patient history, physical exam, and other pertinent health information about the patient.
  • Prepares and sends all documentation to physician for review and approval via authentication of detailed data entry and facility-specific procedures.
  • Complies with medical facility policies, including those relating to HIPAA and Joint Commission.
  • Performs other clerical duties and tasks to improve provider productivity and clinic workflow as assigned.

Primary Care Medical Insurance Verification Specialist

Job Type: Full-time

We are currently seeking an experienced, passionate, motivated Insurance Verification Specialist for our primary care clinic located in Tampa, FL. Candidates must have a passion for the health, wellness and overall well being of patients.

Position Overview:

The Insurance Verification Specialist is responsible for verifying all insurances for new and existing patients prior to their appointments. In addition, candidate will be responsible in greeting the primary care patients and assisting them with checking them in and out for their appointment, scheduling all follow-up appointments, assisting them with answering any questions they may have about the charges or services performed. You must also feel comfortable speaking on the phone with other medical providers and insurance companies. You must possess excellent communication and customer service skills and be able to maintain patient confidentiality at all times

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Arrive promptly for shift.
  • Ensure smooth and effective workflow.
  • Oversee patient check-in and check-out, rescheduling appointments and other administrative tasks.
  • Maintain appointment book and maintain optimally efficient scheduling.
  • Implement a healthy, effective level of communication between all staff.
  • Acknowledge and cheerfully greet all patients upon their arrival and departure.
  • Answer the front desk phone promptly.
  • Utilize the computer and register with the necessary proficiency.
  • Be willing to learn software needed to run verification and scheduling systems efficiently.

This job provides patient care and treatment plans. As a member of the Health + Glow team, our expectation is that you are someone who shares our commitment to meet & exceed performance with a passion. Being able to work independently to develop and provide a treatment plan as well as being a team player is a requirement. Organization, multi-tasking and a passion for learning is required to be successful in this position.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide quality diagnosis and treatment plans to all patients.
  • Offer primary care services, medical weight loss and bio-identical hormone therapy
  • Retain patients through consistent and detailed follow-up protocols.
  • Provide consultations, recommendations and cross promote med spa and IV lounge services.
  • Meticulous charting and documentation of patient files.
  • Provide instructions and guidance regarding medical care matters to patients.
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, policies, and regulations; protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
  • Comply with federal, Florida state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; talking with colleagues to keep abreast of developments in medicine.
